Fox Linton Associates appointed on London's first 6* Hotel

Fox Linton Associates, are delighted to be appointed on the redevelopment of the old Pizza on the Park and office building at London's Hyde Park Corner.
Fox Linton Associates, responsible for the look of the Dorchester Collection's newly opened Coworth Park in Ascot, will use the building's 1920s art deco history as inspiration for the interior.
The completed hotel will include the 28-seat Oval Restaurant serving Italian cuisine, a Crystal Bar and a Jazz Lounge featuring live jazz which will be a regular feature. The Cigar Terraces will include the UK's largest bespoke humidor.
The Wellesley, to be located at 11 Knightsbridge, is being developed at a cost of £36 million refurbishment costs. The property was formerly commercial offices in Arab Investments' property portfolio.
The hotel will take on both a contemporary and classic style with interiors by Fox Linton Associates utilising a combination of the buildings 1920's art deco history and glamour and the striking wide colonnades which the hotel's Cigar Terraces, Crystal Bar and Oval restaurant will be cantered around. The private heated cigar terraces will feature the UK's largest bespoke humidor, whilst The Crystal Bar will house a whisky and cognac wall. The Oval restaurant will serve high-quality Italian cuisine with approximately 28 covers next to a dedicated jazz bar aimed at showcasing established and up and coming jazz acts in a private atmosphere.
The hotel bedrooms are to be situated over six floors. The sixth floor provides a four bedroom suite with uninterrupted views over Hyde Park, making it the largest capacity suite in London. The Suite comes complete with all the technological advancements to make it secure for discerning business travellers and high profile individuals who require several rooms.
